Potomac Station

Potomac Station is a housing subdivision located in Leesburg, Virginia which opened to residents in 1997. It is located north of Virginia State Highway 7, east of the Leesburg Bypass and west of Lansdowne. About a third of its residents live in the Town of Leesburg, and the remaining two thirds live outside of the town.

Potomac Station offers: A Clubhouse, A junior Olympic size swimming pool, 7 playgrounds, 2 tennis courts, 1 Basketball Court, Also the Potomac Station Shopping Center Located at the edge of the neighborhood host a: Giant Supermarket, A Best Buy, A Hollywood Video, A Subway, A Caribou Coffee, A Moe's, A Maggie Moos, and a UPS store.

Potomac Station is served by Loudoun County Public Schools. Students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade attend John Tolbert Elementary School. Students in Sixth through Eighth grades attend Harper Park Middle School. Both schools are both located in Potomac Station adjacent to each other. Students in 9th through 12th grade attend Heritage High School which is located about five to six miles away in the southern outskirts of Leesburg.
Because Potomac Station does not have its own high school, the neighborhood has been subject to many high school changes, where it was part of two other schools' boundaries which were Loudoun County High School from 1997-2000 and Stone Bridge High School from 2000-2002.
