Poul Hübertz (born September 21, 1976) is a Danish professional footballer currently playing for English League One side Millwall as a forward. Hübertz has previously played for Danish Superliga clubs Herfølge BK and AaB. With his long legs and unelegant style, he is known in Denmark as a somewhat atypical striker. He is also known as "the Hübbonator" amongst his fans.
Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt once accused Hübertz of playing a part in the melee leading to the red card given to Vale's left back Jason Talbot on Saturday 24th of march 2007 (Millwall vs. Port Vale). Bill Bratt called "The Hübbonators" actions "unforgivable".[1]
It is said by spectators and football-enthusiasts, that the danish Hûbbonator ran over 30 yards to say his piece to the referee about the altercation with Millwall's Ryan Smith. And in that way provoking the red card. [2]
