Prakash Narain Tandon

Prakash Narain Tandon, born in 1928, is regarded as the doyen of Indian neuroscience. He is also the former president of the Indian National Science Academy. His son Nikhil is a top endocrinologist and his father was a leading botanist. He was awarded Padma Vibhushan, the second highest national honor in India in 2006.
