Radio Winchcombe

Radio Winchcombe is a small broadcasting unit in the town of Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England. It broadcasts up to three times a year, for two days.
The last broadcast was on October 20th, 21st and 22nd October 2006, showcasing the very best local talent and listeners praised the mix of local news, chat and music. It was the first 3 day output from the station. It was also the first time that Radio Winchombe streamed its output over the internet, and there were listeners in California and Australia.
The next broadcast is planned for 27th, 28th and 29th of April 2007.
In 2006, Radio Winchcombe was awarded a £2,750 grant from the National Lottery, enabling it to buy its own equipment.
