Replantation

Replantation is the surgical reattachment of a body part, most commonly a finger, hand or arm, that has been completely cut from a persons body. Replantation of amputated parts has been peformed in amputated fingers, hands, forearms, feet, amputated ears, avulsed scalp injuries, an amputated face, amputated lips, amputated penis and an amputated tongue.
