Talk:Ridonculous
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Do you know what I mean when I say that this deletion/protection is ridonculous. Great! Then you've just proven my point, which is: The phrase (I don't really want to call it a word yet) conveys a generally agreed upon content (extreme ridicule) and is referenced not only in research (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ridonculous), but also in popular culture (How I met your Mother 2x10). Therefore a person encountering the phrase and oblivious to its meaning (not everyone's first language is English, many people don't get it right away) will have a legitimate interest in finding a definition on Wikipedia. A warning should be added that this is a slang term, besides that I don't see a problem. If the rules forbid this then they are wrong. (march 17th 2007)85.176.28.231 01:23, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Don't be ridonculous, this page is completely legit.
