Robert Bundtzen

Robert Bundtzen (1949 in North Dakota, USA, - ) is an American dog musher from Anchorage, Alaska, USA.
Bundtzen moved to Alaska with his parents when he was 11 years old. Although he started mushing as teenager, it was in 1993 that he began to seriously compete. In 1995, in his Iditarod debute, he finished 40th. He has participated eight times in the world longest dogsled run and has always finished. His best position was in 1997 where he came in 27th. His best time is 10 days, 15 hours, 25 minutes set in 2006.
In 1984, Bundtzen began his own business as an infectious disease consultant.
