Robert Crants

Robert Crants is a managing partner and co-founder of Pharos Capital Group, LLC with Michael Devlin and Kneeland Youngblood. He has been involved with private equity investments for fifteen years after graduating summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Economics.
Before founding Pharos, Bob Crants was involved with Goldman Sachs where he worked with Michael Devlin. He was a founding member of the Special Investments Group where he helped develop and market equity derivative products, exchange funds, merchant bankking funds, and more, totalling over 6 billion in funds raised. In appreciation of his work with Goldman Sachs, he received the Goldman Sachs Banking Division Innovation Award in 1993.
While working with Pharos Capital, he and Michael Devlin conceived the idea to raise money for the Louisiana Education Assistance Fund in order to help post-Katrina education and rebuilding effort.
