Rodney Hicks (born 4 November 1986) is a footballer for Rushden & Diamonds and plays as a midfielder. He comes from Harrow, and went to Hatch End High School. Previous youth clubs include Brentford, Barnet and Queen's Park Rangers. He signed for Peterborough United in late 2006; manager Keith Alexander said: "Rodney is a young lad who has been on trial with us and he has signed really with a view to next season. He has had short spells with a few clubs and with a few injuries in our squad, he will give us another option. He is a young lad who has tremendous potential and I am looking forward to working with him. He is certainly keen to impress and we will see how it goes."
Without a reserve team, Peterborough loaned Hicks to King's Lynn to allow him to gain match fitness. After making 3 appearances for the Linnets as a substitute, he returned to the Posh and had his contract cancelled by mutual consent on January 11, 2007. He joined Conference side Rushden & Diamonds 8 days later.
