Rodnoi Ugolok

Russian Student Society: Rodnoi Ugolok is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Washington. Its purpose is to promote Russian cultural awareness; to maintain cultural ties among the Russian-speaking students and faculty; to organize cultural, educational, and community building events; and promote academic excellence. Established in December 2002, RSSRU has grown to over 600 current members. Everybody with an interest in Russian culture, language, and traditions are welcome to join.

- Celebrate Russian holidays
- Hold academic workshops
- Watch Russian movies
- Organize trips
- Get together for barbeques and bonfires
- Play intellectual games
- Socialize in Russian
