Scanline VFX is a European visual effects company. It is based in Munich, Germany and employs 130 artists who have created VFX for projects like Poseidon (film). The company works mainly in feature films and Tv movies. Scanline works with Hydro-fluid effects, 3D animated features, and character designs.

Scanline VFX was founded in 1989 by Ruth Stefanie Stalf and Thomas Zauner.

- With their sister company Scan&Record35, CA Scanline Gmbh. offer full film services for "digital lab", including scanning, grading and film recording.
- Scanline VFX is also known for its software, "Flowline". This software is for fluid simulation.

Their photorealistic scenes for a dam breaking sequence and an airplane crash, competed with well-known American visual effects companies at the international Siggraph's visual effects awards.
