Secret Lovers was the third single from As the Band Turns, the sixth album from R&B group, Atlantic Starr. The song was an American Top 10 success, reaching number 3 on the Billboard charts. The song also reached number 10 in the UK singles charts during 1986.
In 2006, a score intended to resemble this single was included in the T-Mobile commercial "Busted" by Publicis/SEATTLE. The actual music used was composed by Stephan Altman of Mophonics.
