Semestene is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 km north of Cagliari and about 40 km southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 206 and an area of 39.8 km2.[1]
Semestene borders the following municipalities: Bonorva, Cossoine, Macomer, Pozzomaggiore, Sindia.
