"Semi-Mental" is a song by Biffy Clyro and the first single from their fourth album, Puzzle, and is a download only single. It was released on 25 December 2006.

Simon Neil has commented on the song, saying
“ | This is our most straight-up rock song. It's about trying to numb the pain when you're feeling so sad - when you hurt so much you need an escape. Everyone has a different way of escaping.[1] | ” |

The song is in Drop D tuning, a tuning favoured by Biffy Clyro, and features a beginning similar to their 2003 single, "Questions and Answers", with a wall of feedback.

- When released on iTunes, the artist was listed as Semi-Mental instead of Biffy Clyro making it harder to find and probably losing out on a lot of sales, with iTunes being the main music download site.
- It was named single of the week by Kerrang! magazine.
