Sherman Access (Hamilton, Ontario)

Sherman Access is a mountain pass in Hamilton, Ontario. It starts off in Kenilworth Access to Charlton Avenue. The access is opened only during rush hours, in order to relieve traffic on other mountain pass.

The road is first named Shearman, but later changed to Sherman in honour of Frank Sherman (1887 - 1967), the co-founder of what is now Dofasco.

Sherman Access is the only mountain access that opens with time restrictions. The pass opens every monday to friday during rush hour. The northbound is open to traffic for the morning rush; while the southbound is open to traffic during the afternoon rush.
