Shinshiro (新城市; -shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
As of April 1, 2006, the city has an estimated population of 52,467. The total area is 499km².

The city merged with the Town of Horai and the Village of Tsukude on October 1, 2005 and became the 2nd largest city by area in Aichi Prefecture, only behind the city of Toyota.
