Sia Michel

Sia Michel is the pop music editor of The New York Times. She had been a freelance writer, penning music reviews for the Times. She had been the former editor-in-chief of Spin magazine and the first woman to edit a US rock music magazine.
Michel became editor-in-chief of Spin in February 2002 after working at the magazine for five years. She held this position until February 2006 when the magazine was bought out by new owners.
