From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Simon Finn is an English psych folk musician.
Finn released his Pass the Distance LP in 1970. The album featured contributions from Rob Buckin, Paul Burwell, Ken Elliot, and David Toop. His second LP Magic Moments was released thirty five years later by Durtro/Jnana. Finn resides in Montreal, Canada and has recently been touring extensively both as a solo artist and as a member of Current 93.
Finn's 1970 album could best be described as the rantings of a madman along the lines of Syd Barrett but his later work is much deeper in lyrical content closer to darker shade of Leonard Cohen.
Simon Finn has played shows with Current 93, Nick Castro, Plastic Crimewave and more.
