Simon Staho (born June 2, 1972) is a Danish film director. Born in Copenhagen.
Mentioned as one of Denmark's upcoming new film directors. Known for his special trade mark with long dialogue scenes (often in cars) in his films and for an original way of using special soundtrack to his scenes, often pop/rock/punk music in emotional and dramatic scenes, in his films. Says he is much attracted by the artistic and visual language of music videos when he's making full-length drama films.
