Sommatino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caltanissetta in the Italian region Sicily, located about 100 km southeast of Palermo and about 20 km southwest of Caltanissetta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,561 and an area of 34.7 km2.[1]
Sommatino borders the following municipalities: Caltanissetta, Mazzarino, Naro, Ravanusa, Riesi.
