Southeast Middle School (South Gate, California)

South East Middle School (SEMS) opened in 2004 [1] as a middle school servicing the community of South Gate, California, a city adjacent to the Watts area of Los Angeles.
The school is operated by the Los Angeles Unified School District.
South East relieved South Gate Middle School when South East opened.
Prior to the opening of the school, it was known as Southeast Area New Middle School #3.
