[edit] personal privacy
What should Wikipedia policy be in the case of an invidual, such as this Rogue fellow, who is famous only under a pseudonym and apparently wants to avoid having his real name publicly available? Should we have any consideration for the whims of the subject? - Nat Krause 06:37, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)
I post this to you only as context for my remarks. We are not in the business of 'outing' people, and we must continue to have deep and profound respect for the subjects of our biographies. If the name was published in a mainstream magazine, that would change things, but as things stand, publishing the name is deeply inappropriate. Yes, matters are complicated by the fact that he published the name on his own website, but even so.--Jimbo Wales 14:39, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Celeb Dreds
Maybe you should alphabetise that list (by first or last name), so it's easier to follow? I'd be willing to do it for you if you wanted. Dead 07:15, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Whoops, my bad, they're already alphabetical. lol I didn't look close enough, sorry about that. Good luck with keeping the list updated in any case. Dead 07:22, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
