Steve Baker has been involved in the video games industry since 1998. Initially focusing on PC game development at Minds Eye as a junior programmer he began focusing more on console programming as his career progressed. He received a true baptism of fire when he joined Runecraft in 1999 and had to take the reins as lead programmer on 'Caesar's Palace' due to the original lead quitting the previous week. He has since been credited on games from notable publishers such as Electronic Arts and Activision.
