Subiaco (post code: 6008) is an inner western suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Subiaco.
;It is close to the city and holds home to many famous people, such as Julia Petricevic and Adam Gilchrist. One of the landmarks of Subiaco is the Subiaco Oval.
The main street of Subiaco, Rokeby Road, is named after Lord Rokeby, and many of its other street names are named after people of importance as well. Rokeby Road holds home to many different shops, cafes, stores, etc, and is a very popular place at everytime of day. Another important road is Hay Street, which passes through Subiaco and has many boutiques and beauty salons on it.
Every year, in early summer, the people of Subiaco celebrate the festive season with a street party on Rokeby Road and Hay Street. It is a very exciting event, with live entertainment and games.
The main areas of residence in Subiaco are Subi Centro, a modern miniature village down near Wembley, the town houses upon major roads, and the old workers cottages down near Shenton Park. Most of the communities children attend school at Subiaco Primary School, or neighbouring schools.
