Comic book

Comic books are books with comics, pictures that make a story. They have small pictures and words to tell a story. Comics were started in the 1930's. Some famous examples are Spider-Man and Batman. Some comic company are Marvel Comics and DC Comics.
Comic books are most often printed like magazines; folded sheets of paper with staples holding the pages together. Longer works, with a spine like a book, are more often called graphic novels.
