The Cloud Project [1] is a unique photographic record of Congleton's most prominent and much loved landmark, The Cloud
The Project [2] was created over 365 consecutive days, between June 2005 and July 2006 and is portrait of a year in the life of this beautiful outcrop
The digital photographs were taken from the same vantage point on The Macclesfield Canal in Congleton [3], each day

The Raven is one of The Cloud's specialities, with 2 breeding pairs seen reguarly [12]
Goosanders, Kingfisher, Buzzard, Little Owl and Mandarin Duck regularly visit the canal where The Project [13] was photographed [14]
The area is especially rich in bird [15] species.
