The Deal (1980s band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Deal was a 1980s power pop band that toured extensively throughout the East Coast, flirted with major label success, and had some eerie connections to the Dave Matthews Band.
Among these connections was Mark Roebuck, a musician/bartender who gave a young Dave Matthews his first regular musical gig, and a messianic guitarist named Haines Fullerton, who co-wrote the DMB song #34 but committed suicide in 1996.
