The Early Morning Drizzle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Early Morning Drizzle was a rock and roll band the emerged from the Montreal rock scene in the late 1960's. Playing primarily blues and rock, the band had four members: these names have yet to be identified. Influenced by artists such as The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Chuck Berry, The Early Morning Drizzle were one the few bands of the era that managed to blend these different musical stylings into one innovative sound.
Despite being original and energetic in their musical approach, The Early Morning Drizzle never managed to secure a recording contract. They played numerous clubs and bars in the Montreal area, and had their biggest gig at an arena where they played to over 400 fans.
The Early Morning Drizzle broke up in 1969, and its members have since gone their separate ways. It is rumored that two of the former members reside in Toronto, Canada, but this has yet to be confirmed.
