The Graham Norton Show is a comedy chat show presented by Irish comedian Graham Norton. The show began at 10pm on 22 February on BBC Two. The show's format is very similar to his Channel 4 programmes V Graham Norton and So Graham Norton. The show regains its strong adult humour along with Graham's monologue at the beginning of the show, a musical guest, and the famous "hidden camera surprises". However, the famous phone calls and rude objects in "Graham's drawer" did not survive. In this show, the surprises are submitted by friends who tell the show what they (or their friends) are up to on Wednesday at 7pm (when the show is being recorded).
Like the Channel 4 shows, The Graham Norton Show is produced by SO Television. The show will be running for 13 weeks.
The show has an extended repeat with an extra fifteen minutes with previously unseen material. It is shown late on Sunday nights and called "Graham Norton Uncut". The extra material, entitled "Cooldown", is extra footage after the main show ends, and begins after the credits finish rolling, leaving the show's ending cutting straight to SO Television's production card.
