The Time Frequency
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
TTF - The Time Frequency is a techno solo act from Scotland.
Started by Jon Campbell in 1988 as a 80's synth band, changing its name from Thru The Fire to The Time Frequency - TTF, it was Scotland's first techno band and quickly established a strong following amongst the country's club-going masses. Jon was assisted onstage by keyboard players Paul Inglis and later Kyle Ramsay.
TTF played many sell out gigs at Scotland's top clubs like Barrowlands and Rezerection. Their hard work was rewarded with chart success with a number of hits amongst which were New Emotion & Real Love (which reached number 8 in the UK top 40 chart) and numerous others.
Because Jive records wouldnt pay session singer Mary Kiani enough money to be a full-time permanent member of the act, she was forced to leave the group.[citation needed]
She was replaced after interviewing over 300 vocalists with Debbie Millar, a 25 year old sessions singer from south coast Bournemouth.
It has recently been anounced that a best of album will be released on April 16th, 2007 called TTF - The Ultimate Collection.
