The Vault is a British free-to-air music television channel, owned by Chart Show Channels. They generally play songs which are between 1 and 5 years old, though they do play some music from the nineties and eighties. The station identity involves using the bumpers during advertising to show music trivia questions.
From December 2006, The Vault has been repeating editions of The Chart Show Saturdays at 11AM, repeated Thursdays at 5PM.

Monday Playlist- 6am Wake Up Call, plays songs ideal for on the go in the morning. 9am Hunks and Honeyz. 1pm No. 1s, Plays No.1 Songs. 2pm Videos From The Vault, random selection of videos and songs. 5pm Vault Hits, hits from the last five years, even though recently they seem to play a random mix from the past five decades. 7pm Very best of 2002, a selection of 2002 songs. 8pm Kareoke Klassics. 11pm Hunkz and honeyz. 12am Vault At Nite, random selection of Vault videos.
Tuesday- Like Monday, except for 7pm Best of 1994 and 8pm Best Of 1980s. 1980s music videos.
Wednesday- Like Monday, but 7pm Best of 1996 and 8pm Best of the 1990s. 1990s Music videos.
Thursday- Like Monday, but Best of 2000 and 8pm School Night Disco, popular dance and karaoke music.
Friday- Again, like Monday, but Best of 1992 and 8pm Kareoke Klassics.
Saturday- 6am Weekend Wake Up, similar to Wake Up Call. 10am Top Ten Hits. 11am Classic Chartshow. 12pm Vault Stars, all the biggest stars of the Vault. 3:30pm Massive Hits, mainly top 7 hits. 5pm His From Flicks, film songs (sponsored by True Movies Channel 324). 6pm No.1s. 8pm Kareoke Klassics. 1am Vault At Nite.
Sunday- Like Saturday, but Top 10 Hits is 2 hours, 12pm Brunch, a mixture of pop music. 2pm Sunday Session, soothing sounds to help you chill out. 8pm Vault Classics, the best of the Vault's archive collection.

Thursdays, 8pm, The Weekend Starts Here. This was similar to School Night Disco. It last appered in September 2006. Thursdays, 8pm, Best of the Noughties. A selection of songs from 2000 to 2006. Briefly replaced The Weekend Starts Here. Last appeared in November 2006.

The Vault often have competitions. Example being win a trip to Australia to see Robbie Williams.
In late 2005, early 2006, The Vault were sponsored by Orange. The programmes airing from 8pm to 11pm all became Vault Hits.
The Vault's former channel number was 456. It changed on 28 February 2006.
The Very Best Of... programmes always feature years 2002,1994,1996,2000 and 1992.
Occasionally, The Vault have shown a Thru The Years special. So far, they have done R.E.M and Oasis.
On Sunday, 14 January 2007, The Vault broadcast the Top 40 songs of 2006, starting at 8pm and ending at 11pm.
On Saturday 16 December 2006, the Vault broadcast the first ever rundown of The Vault's top 100 pop videos from 2pm to 11:30pm. Viewers had to vote and they had to vote for the video and not the song. The top 5 was- 5. Fatboy Slim- Weopon Of Choice. 4. Britney Spears- Baby One More Time. 3. Queen- Bohemean Rhapsody. 2. Michael Jackson- Thriller. 1. A-Ha- Take On Me.
The Vault can be found on Sky Digital channel 356. It is also available on Freesat from Sky or non-commercial FTA satellite systems.
