Threat Signal is a Melodic Death Metal/Metalcore/Industrial Metal band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records.

The band has cited bands such as Fear Factory, Meshuggah, Mnemic, Soilwork, Lamb of God, Mudvayne and countless more as influences.

The band has just one release to date, Under Reprisal, which was released in May of 2006 in Europe and August of 2006 in America. The band has recently announced that they have started to write some new material for their next release.

[edit] Departures

On August 1st, 2006, the band anounced that guitarist Rich Howard had left the band to pursue other personal goals. He was replaced by the band's bassist, Marco Bressette, which left the bass guitar duties vacant. The band asked for anyone willing to join to contact them. They received numerous replies but on September 25th, it was anounced that Pat Kavanagh from Pickering, Ontario had been selected to be the new bassist.

On March 28th, 2007, the band anounced that former bassist and current guitarist Marco Bressette had left the band and was focusing on his own music and various studio work. Former guitarist Rich Howard will be filling in briefly. Like in August, when Rich deparated, the band will be searching for a new guitarist and has told the public to "start warming up your fingers".

• Singer Jon Howard and former guitarist Rich Howard are cousins.
• Threat Signal posted their song Rational Eyes on an international metal chart on GarageBand.com. After a few weeks, the song reached #1, and has received many awards including best guitars, best drums, best male vocals, best production, song of the week, and song of the day.^{[citation needed]}
