From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tividale High School is a secondary school located in Tividale, near Dudley, in the West Midlands of England. It was built by Tipton County Borough Council in 1956 to serve the expanding Tividale area which by now had expanded beyond Tipton's borders into Dudley. The school is now located within the Oldbury B69 postal district, rather than Tipton DY4.
The school's initial title was Tividale Comprehensive School, but it change to Tividale High School in about 1990 and received Art College specialist status in 2006 becoming 'Tividale Community Arts College'. That year also saw a mere 19% of GCSE students attain 5 grades at C or above - making it the third worst performing school in the whole of Sandwell.
It hosts annual trips to well behaved students including Alton Towers and Drayton Manor
There has been alot of Contraversy in recent years, last year one of the students parents created a website highlighting all the negative points of the school, this site can be found [here]
