Troy Van Leeuwen

Troy Van Leeuwen is an American guitarist who currently plays lap steel guitar, electric guitar, keyboards and sometimes bass in Queens of the Stone Age. Van Leeuwen began his career in his first band Jester with vocalist Eric Book,[citation needed] and played guitar for Failure and A Perfect Circle before joining Queens of the Stone Age in 2002. Van Leeuwen also fronts his own band, Enemy.

Van Leeuwen uses hollowbody guitars including several Yamaha AES1500s, his signature SA503 TVL, other Gibson and Yamaha hollowbodies, a Gibson Les Paul and a Chandler lap steel guitar.[1]
