Truong Nhu Tang
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Truong Nhu Tang was a founder of the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam (NLF) and Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam (PRG) Minister of Justice during the Vietnam War era.
In 1977, only two years after North Vietnamese forces finally took Saigon and united Vietnam under the Communist flag, Tang left Vietnam when he became disillusioned by the repressive regime of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which he believed didn't give equal standing to southern sympathizers.
Tang went into exile in Paris, and, in 1985, published a book about his life as a Viet Cong in the NLF and PRG. The book, A Viet Cong Memoir, outlines not only his own experiences, but also the impact of the war among other revolutionaries.
