[edit] History
The company was statrted in June 2006 by entrapuner Domonic Ponniah, a British-Asian who got the idea after traveling on a business trip in India. Tuctuc Ltd started off with 12 Bajaj Retros in various livery designs ranging from the union jack to Burberry check. The capacity was from the start too low and it often failed to meet the sceduled timetable. because it was operated on a bus licence, an inquiry was made (cheered on by Taxi companies in the area). It was fined £16.500 for a breech of it's licence. Then Burberry forced the company to take the 'Chavrolet' rickshaw of the road due to a breech of Burberrys copyright. Domonic Ponniah, manager of Tuctuc Ltd, then decided to close the business until spring 2007 when 10 new, larger rickshwas will be operational. Then the company was forced to remove it's stop signs from the seafront after it was found they were on listed lamposts. It has now changed its restart date, again.
