If you're looking to work on this article, some things it's missing that I was interested in: when is it held? where is it held? how long is it? is it a 1-day event? is it a flat course? how long does it take to finish? When and where will the 2004 race take place?

[edit] Track/sprint
Does not belong here but on Track cycling. I've removed Koichi Nakano and commented out the country win list since it seems to include track titles (contrary to what is mentioned). I'll recount the titles shortly. Piet | Talk 10:40, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- If track events are not included in this article then the title "World Cycling Championship" is wrong. Either "World Cycling Championship" should be changed to "World Road Cycling Championship" or "World Cycling Championship (Road Race)", or the article should include all World's events. - The article currently is about the Road Race. In my country World Cycling Championship will always refer to the Road Race, like Tour de France will refer to the men's road event and not to the women's or mountainbike event. If this is the case in most countries it would be acceptable to leave the page as it is.
- If anyone wants to include track racing, then it's not enough to add some numbers to the infobox and list, then the event has to be described in the text as well. This seems like a very bad idea to me, as the events have very little to do with each other. Better make a separate page (it doesn't seem to exist yet). Piet | Talk 12:03, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
