UML in a Nutshell is a book in the O'Reilly Media 'in a nutshell series' which covers an overview of using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The latest edition of the book, sometimes referred to as the cat book, was written by Dan Pilone and Neil Pitman and covers UML 2.0. It was published in June 2005.
