It is located at the borders of Princeton Borough and Princeton Township, NJ. However, it is scheduled to move to its new location in 2009: Plainsboro, NJ.

Recently, the name of the hospital has been changed from Princeton Medical Center to University Medical Center at Princeton.

The hospital is affiliated with the Robert Johnson University University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
