University of Akureyri

The University of Akureyri is a fairly young institution, founded on September 5, 1987 in the city of Akureyri in the north part of Iceland. It has grown fast since, especially in the last years as more facilities have been established. 1,486 students attended the university in the autumn of 2006. However this school only graduated students with. B.C, B.A, B.Ed for undergraduates and M.C or M.A for master class. No Ph.d is offered
