Veregin, Saskatchewan

Veregin is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It was almost completely destroyed by two major fires on January 22 and January 29, 2004. The future of the village currently remains in question. Villagers will get together to hold a vote to decide its future. Veregin is located 50 kilometres northeast of Yorkton. Veregin is named after Peter Veregin, Doukhobor leader.
