[edit] Vietnamese-language links
I think we should keep those links because they provide a better picture of what's important in Vietnamese media. If we prune the Vietnamese-only websites we'd be left with a skewed view (i.e. some minor sites have an English-language version and be included when no one really cares about them. Just look at Category:Vietnamese Americans and Category:Vietnamese people. Most of the people in Category:Vietnamese Americans barely pass the notability test. If we were compiling a list of Vietnamese people, would we list them all while passing over more important people just on the basis that they have articles written about them? - I didn't realize you were expecting a reply. I don't think there's anything wrong with including Vietnamese-language links in the English Wikipedia, as long as they're labeled as such. The BBC does it all the time in its news stories. Relevant (sometimes foreign-language) web pages are linked on the right side of the articles there. My view is either you include all or none at all.
