State Route 140 is a primary state highway in Abingdon, Virginia, United States. It runs from U.S. Route 11/U.S. Route 19 (Main Street) south most of the way to Interstate 81/U.S. Route 58. State Route 647 continues the rest of the way to I-81/US 58 and beyond to Bristol along Old Jonesboro Road and King Mill Pike.
SR 140 was added to the state highway system in 1960 as a connection between US 11 and I-81.[2]
