[edit] Why such a pity article
What does the article mean by "his name was partly cleared and his constructive contributions recognized." ? This is unclear to me.
I'm surprised that an article on such an important figure is still left a stub. I'm tempted to write a new article. 172 02:27, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
Have added stub listings to bring this article to wider attention.Inane Imp 10:20, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] His role in Polish resistance
- The book I see (Polish Army, 1939-1945 by Steven J Zaloga) claims that he was a member of Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation (probably the GL one). How come it is ommitted? --Irpen 02:10, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
He was member of Communist forces organised and controlled by Soviet Union in order to allow Soviets to take over Poland. --Molobo 03:30, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- I am aware of your views. What I am saying is that he was a leader of the underground resistance AL which contributed to fighting the Nazi occupation. This is a notable fact and should be reflected in the article. --Irpen 03:33, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
I am aware of your views. Sorry ? What my views ?
What I am saying is that he was a leader of the underground resistance AL which contributed to fighting the Nazi occupation. Hmm, you would then argue that Stepan Bandare was the leader of underground resistance that contibuted to fighting Soviet occupation ? --Molobo 03:45, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
I think it depends on how you put it.I checked, he was just a part of Soviet created communist government in Poland rather then soldier. --Molobo 03:49, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Soviet created government was in Moscow, Molobo. Gomulka was in Poland in the undergroung resistance. You ask me about Bandera at his talk. Don't bring off-topic stuff. --Irpen 04:27, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
According to PWN encyclopedia he was sent to Poland in order to organise structures of the Soviet created puppet government not to fight Germans. --Molobo 15:20, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 1956 events
I have brought over some information from the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 article, which more appropriately belongs here. We have been reviewing a large amount of reference material for that article, and I hope to be able to provide more references soon. Regards, Ryanjo 00:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
