Wainuia Sp is an undescribed uncommon terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the Fiordland region of the South Island of New Zealand.
It is found under subalpine tussock, rata, and silver beech stands, as well as mahoe-pigeonwood-kiekie groves, and occupies a wide range of habitats.
This species has been collected from northern Fiorland since at least 1955. Its most visible distinguishing characteristic is a bright yellow mantle secretion.
