Waiting for a Miracle was released in September 1980 on Polydor Records. It's The Comsat Angels' debut album. The album was reissued on CD twice, in 1995 by RPM records and in 2006 by Renascent, with different track listings.
The album contains the original version of Independence Day, perhaps their best-known song.
