Wanda Holloway is a woman from Texas, known for hiring a hit man to kill the mother of her daughter's cheerleading rival.

In 1991, Wanda Holloway asked her brother-in-law to hire a hitman to kill the mother of a girl who was competing with her daughter for a spot on the same Texas cheerleading squad. Holloway wanted the mother killed because she determined the competing girl would be so upset by the murder of her mother that she would drop out of the competition. Both girls were thirteen at the time of the plot.
She is known as the "Texas-Cheerleader-Murdering-Mom."

Holloway was convicted of solicitation of capital murder after pleading no contest in the 1991 trial. She was released on March 1, 1997 with a nine and a half year probation sentence.
Holloway was originally to serve fifteen years in prison, but the conviction was overturned when it was found that one of the original jurors was on probation.
Holloway was ordered to serve one-thousand hours of community service.
Holloway now lives in the Houston area with her husband.
