THE MARY L. COOK PUBLIC LIBRARY HAS BEGUN PODCASTING:

A podcast is an audio recording. The recording is a computer file (think of the recorded file as being embedded in a little pod). Each podcast file is listed and embedded on the "Waynesville Wanderings" page with accompanying show notes for each program. Some of the longer programs may take a few minutes to download.
We plan on interviewing a variety of authors, speakers, local historians and genealogists. We will develop a series of podcasts on Waynesville history and genealogy. We will also have a series of programs on Quaker history and genealogy. "Waynesville Wanderings" will have programs on other activities and events happening at The Mary L. Cook Public Library, too.
