[edit] Information
[edit] Phase 1
(Basic Template: Complete) (Double Checking: In Progress)
Phase 1 is now complete but I will be double checking the songs and artists and other data from a second and third source, I will have to add accents here and there when needed. Some capital letters will be needed to make small case too(I would like someone who speaks the language as they will know what should be and what shouldn't).
Whilst double checking I am coming across conflicting data, some minor (for example a person's name spelt a different way eg Corry Brokken/Corrie Brokken), some more important like a score or title of the song. I may try to contact the EBU and ask for some help with my problems.
I contacted them but no reply, so I am having to get information from here and there and work out what is correct. I am updating the template to include: the language the song was performed in, the translation of the song title and linking to the Song Thrush for lyrics.
[edit] Phase 2
(Score Sheets: In Progress)(1956-1985, 1997, 2002-2003, 2005-2006 and j2003 complete)
Phase 2 is adding the score sheet. I may have to use a PNG graphic to make it look right. You can see a Phase 2 page here: Eurovision Song Contest 1957.
[edit] Phase 3
(Country Pages: Partly in Progress)
Phase 3 will involve creating new pages: Country in the Eurovision Song Contest. This will give information about a country's effort and achievement in Eurovision.
[edit] Phase 4
(Country Year Pages: In Progress)
Phase 4 will involve creating more new pages: Country in the Eurovision Song Contest XXXX, giving information about that year in Eurovision for that country, eg how the song was chosen, how well it did, any other information about it. (National Song Contests)

[edit] Templates
[edit] Participants
- Alan Frize - I created Republic of Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest page and have regularly contributed to ESC 2006 page. I also practically single-handedly wrote the former Irish related contest You're A Star and last few Irish entrants' pages. --Alan Frize 17:41, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Alexandru Busa - I made a lot of articles about Eurovision...
- AxG - A fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, created UK in the ESC 2007. Also possible corrections and spelling.
- User:BigHaz - General contest fan, also a grammar/spelling person (which can help when pages are translated from other languages). My big goal, although it's going to be a long project, is writing up all the winning (and then all the competing) songs.
- Blnguyen (administrator)- done some stuff on Congratulations (Eurovision), created Portal:Eurovision and added some
infosuccession boxes. - Bravada - as of now, I have only added some mumbo-jumbo to the Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 article and some other minor bits here and there, but as I really love the ESC peculiarities and find many related articles really lacking in many respects, I will probably be a recurring contributor :D
- Empty2005 - Updates Russian Related Singers.
- eric82oslo - done some national final pages (Melodi Grand Prix, Melodi Grand Prix 2006, Eurosong '06, partly Melodifestivalen 2006), but mostly added articles on ESC and NF artists, and other persons involved with the ESC (composers, commentators).
- Esteffect (administrator) - Got Vanilla Ninja to a featured article, edited/created a lot of the individual country pages, implemented the succession boxes on entrant pages, have a general interest. Esteffect 02:20, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- EuroSong - General Eurovision stuff.. primary aim: get the main article up to Featured Article standard, and get it featured on the main page on next year's Eurovision day ;)
- Evilperson 20 - updating Eurovision Year pages and getting started on individual entry articles.
- fryede - General editing of main article - clean up outline, remove blatant bias, deleting unverifiable claims, keeping article under 30K size limit. Adding participants' birthdays to the Calendar pages. Making sure all the winners have their own page.
- GerardT - I added to Republic of Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest and have also minorly updated other countries' entries
- Greekboy - Constintly adding and updating different eurovision articles.
- Jess Cully - General editing of various ESC pages, kept the 2006 page updated with which countries were and weren't entering. Created pages for Kathy Leander, Karen Matheson and Elaine Morgan. General fan of the Contest. Jess Cully 18:50, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Joseph Aivalikli - mostly Melodifestivalen and other Sweden-related ESC articles, but I could do a bit about Ireland as well. Also a spelling and grammar pedant, which for once may not be a bad thing...
- Lewis R - Always doing loads of ESC-related articles; creating, adding info, cleaning up etc.
- Mijzelf - I created all pages in the serie 'X in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006'. I made the tables (of participants) of the Junior Eurovision (for example Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005). I would like to see such table on the ESC pages as well. I made the articles 'X in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest', but these aren't completed.
- Nick C - Created some of the singers/bands/groups pages, and just General editting on Eurovision and Eurovision related pages.
- ohnder - I created Poland in Eurovision Song Contest and Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest and have also minorly updated other countries' entries
- user:Peterwill - I love Eurovision! I have always watched it, the first I can remember was 1999, as I rememeber telling my mum how i liked Charlotte Nillson's song, and that I didn't understand most of the others. I have edited a few of the competitiors in eurovision.
- User:RedvBlue - I am monitoring many Eurovision articles, and keeping them tidy, especially the 2007 article.
- TF100 - Am in the process of tidying up the various "countries at Eurovision" pages, as well as keeping the 2007 section up to date.
- VodkaJazz Some moderation on a few related pages. Should contribute more during the ESC.
- Wootking - Haven't made contributions, but I plan to...
- Zé da Silva - Adding some missing score sheets.
