WNRP (AM1620) is licensed to Gulf Breeze, FL and serves the greater Pensacola area. It was built in 2003 in the City of Pensacola on a new 180-foot tower using a folded unipole antenna. In late 2005, Dave and Mary Hoxeng launched "Classic Country AM1620" at a full-power of 10,000 watts with live personalities including Pensacola Native and Nashville Legend Larry Butler. AM1620 is the most powerful AM station in Pensacola. AM1620 also carries live sports including: Pensacola Ice Pilots Hockey, Pensacola Pelicans Baseball, NASCAR, Florida State University football and basketball, seasonal local high school prep sports.
